Service Description
Baseline Essential Preparedness is designed for those who recognize the importance of being prepared but aren’t sure where to start. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the idea of preparedness or unsure about what skills truly matter, this course provides a clear, practical, and approachable way to build a solid foundation. This one-day, hands-on training introduces the core principles of personal preparedness, focusing on realistic, easy-to-implement strategies for handling everyday disruptions, unexpected emergencies, and longer-term challenges. Whether you’re concerned about natural disasters, power outages, or simply want to feel more in control during uncertain situations, this course will equip you with essential skills without unnecessary complexity or intimidation. Unlike many preparedness courses that focus on military-style tactics, Baseline Essential Preparedness takes a non-tactical, civilian-focused approach, emphasizing practical solutions that apply to real-world emergencies. The reality is that most crises don’t require combat training—they require good decision-making, resource management, and clear communication. This course is built around what actually matters for personal and family readiness, without the excess of tactical or militant-style training that isn't necessary for civilian response. Through expert-led instruction, practical exercises, and interactive discussions, you’ll learn how to assess risks, build a simple emergency plan, gather key supplies, and develop the confidence to handle difficult situations with a calm, proactive mindset. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn. By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a strong understanding of the fundamentals, a clear path forward, and the reassurance that being prepared doesn’t have to be complicated. What to Bring Water & Food: Bring enough for the day, as there will be no time to leave for meals. Note-Taking Materials: A notepad and pen or any preferred method for taking notes.
